I just got back from a long run/walk and getting ready for the pool with my princesses. But when I was out, I listened to what has to be one of the finest albums of all time, hands down, Van Halen II. This album is THIRTY FREAKIN YEARS OLD. No way, it's as relevant as ever, its edgy r&b/rock underpinnings, its outstanding vocals and excellent guitar work make it stand the test of time. I love every song. It goes from melodic to hardnosed and it never makes empty promises. Its as raw and dirty-perfect as it gets. One of the top 5 rock bands ever, best front man ever, best guitarist ever.
